Jolly Archers Open Western 2007 The Jolly Archers
    of Houghton & Wyton
Beginners
The Jolly’s is open to new archers of almost any age or ability. We run our beginners courses through the outdoor season (April to September) when we will teach you all you need to get started, from how to draw a bow correctly to safety on the shooting field. The course runs for two consecutive Saturday mornings from 10.00am until 12.30pm. The Club will provide the equipment - all you need to bring is your enthusiasm. Further coaching is available should you decide to become a member.

The cost is £30.00 per person.

Please note that juniors (under 18's) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Please be aware that, following your course, we can no longer guarantee to lend equipment as it may well be needed for other beginners. The cost of a basic bow and associated kit is about £120 although second hand kit if available can be a bargain. Advice on this can, and should, be obtained from the Club before you buy.

Contact us here if you would like further details and/or to register your interest in this year's beginners courses.
