The club enters two Postal leagues, details of which can be found below.
SELBY SUMMER POSTAL LEAGUE 2022
The Selby League is an inter-club postal competition run throughout the summer season (May to September inclusive) and includes clubs throughout the UK. Each month we shoot against another team in our division. We have entered 4 teams: a Compound team, a Recurve team, a Recurve Barebow team and a Longbow team.
- For Compound, Recurve and Recurve Barebow archers the round to be shot is the Short Metric round, three dozen arrows at 50m and three dozen arrows at 30 metres on an 80cm face, metric scoring.
- For Longbow archers the round to be shot is a National , four dozen arrows at 60 yards and two dozen at 50 yards on a 122cm face.
- A Recurve team consists of 3 archers whilst the Compound, Recurve Barebow and Longbow teams are of 2 archers. The best scores shot in the month dictate who is in the team. Team members can therefore change throughout the season.

2021 Results: Recurve team 5th in Division 2, Compound team 2nd in Division 1, Longbow team 6th in Division 1 and Barebow team 2nd in Division 3.
In most cases, we would have done much better if we had fielded complete teams each month and would have likely won the Compound and Barebow leagues.

The Selby Winter Postal league is an inter-club competition run throughout the winter (November to March inclusive) in place of the BA League and involves clubs from throughout the UK and occasionally abroad. Each month we shoot against another team in our respective divisions.
We have entered Longbow, Recurve and Compound teams this winter. The rounds to be shot are the Portsmouth and Frostbite rounds. The Recurve team consists of 3 archers while the Longbow and Compound teams each have two. The scores from each archer/bow type are compiled each month and the top 3 scores go into the team within the relevant bow type. There are no fixed teams so you could be in the team one month and out the next month.

The BA Postal league is an inter-club competition run throughout the winter (November to March inclusive) and involves clubs from throughout the UK and occasionally abroad. Each month we shoot against another team in our division
- For both Recurve and Compound archers the rounds to be shot are the Portsmouth and Frostbite rounds.
- Each year we usually enter at least one senior recurve team and a senior compound team, and possibly a junior recurve team, for both the Portsmouth and Frostbite rounds. Each team consists of 3 archers so we really need your scores.
- The scores from each archer/bow type are compiled each month and the top 3 scores go into the team within the relevant bow type. There are no fixed teams so you could be in the team one month and out the next month)
